*  The asterisk indicates that the product has been tested for tensile strength by IGFA. The tensile strength shown with an asteric is the mean breaking-strength of five random samples for each size tested. Standard deviation for each size tested was small, indicating high-quality and consistent manufacturing standards.  Note that our manufacturer's tensile strength tests and IGFA results differed. This is due primarily to IGFA's use of advanced-sensitivity force-testing equipment. Eidolon tested substantially stronger than labeled in every case. Mou 4X also tested higher than labeled. Mou 6X tested lower than labeled, and Mou 5X tested about the same as labeled.  Our TaperClip tapered leaders were tested during their recent production run, and TaperClip product labels show the IGFA line test results.
